In Matthew 24:4, Jesus told his disciples, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” To “deceive” means to cause someone to believe that something is true, when it’s actually false or “not true”. The main source behind all of the deception and lies in the world is Satan himself…”The Father of Lies”. One of Satan’s major deceptions that is affecting our young children is being transmitted through a very popular and profitable medium…ANIMATION or CARTOONS! The creative and beautiful art of Animation is not evil itself, but it’s when Satan uses it for his wicked and demonic purposes that the evil work is done through animation.

Even though most people think cartoons are just cute, funny, harmless and entertaining, many of today’s animated TV shows, movies, and videos have very demonic images and themes (like magic, wizards, monsters, dragons, sorcery, sex, and violence, etc.) These programs are repeatedly being watched by our children…everywhere and everyday. Kids are constantly watching and listening to the wrong messages from these “bad cartoons”. Of course, not all animation is evil, but there are some very popular cartoons that Satan is using to put a cute, innocent face on everything that’s evil and against God and His Word. Over time after being exposed to these images, it slowly desensitizes them to accept sin as ‘not so bad’. This is the big deception…this is “The Animation Cover Up!”

Keep your eyes open and watch out for these character types in today’s animated shows:

WITCH – a woman who practices black magic or witchcraft, a sorceress.

WARLOCK – a male witch.

WIZARD – a sorcerer or a magician.

MAGIC – Trying to produce supernatural effects or control nature by using charms, spells, or evil rituals.

SPELLS – An incantational word or formula said by someone so as to cause a supernatural, magical effect.

OTHER GODS – Anything or anyone that is worshipped and considered to have more power than the true and living God (Jesus).

MONSTER – A creature with a frightening or bizarre shape or appearance.

DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY – A lot of cartoons are teaching kids to be more rebellious, to disrespect authority, to use bad language, to be disobedient to their parents, more exposed to sexuality, and more violent. Some animated shows often mock and make fun of God, Christian people and Christian values. This is slowly and subtley tearing down their fear and respect for God.

Hallelujah!! Satan’s evil “Animation Cover Up!” has been un-covered by the power of God…in the name of Jesus! The ONLY way to defeat the devil’s deception is by the POWER OF GOD! (The Holy Ghost!) and the Word of God! Jesus Christ has ALL POWER over every other power in the world. Parents, it’s time to take responsibility for what your children are watching on TV!

Help save your children’s lives and get rid of all those demonic cartoon videos, and make them watch an anointed, Christian gospel cartoon that will glorify God and lift up the name of Jesus Christ, teach them the Word of God and lift their spirits toward Godliness and righteousness.
