"And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?" - (Matthew 21:16b)          "Gospo & The Gospel Kids!" was created by former youth minister Elder Lamar Johnson and Horace Christian out of a strong desire to see children saved and truly used in ministry as powerful witnesses for the Lord. Driven by their love for Jesus and young people, Lamar and Horace saw that the need was very great for children to be truly encouraged, ministered to, and trained "in the way that they should go"...all while having a clean, fun time. God began to place His approval on the vision by creating (through Lamar and Horace) the critically-acclaimed Christian television show,"The Gospel Kids Show!"           Now more than ever, children need to hear more gospel music that focuses on the issues in their lives. This is the sole purpose of the "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song" CD series. These CD's will cause children everywhere to learn that they can live victorious Christian lives for Jesus and still be used by God at a young age. LIL' SAM - (Age: 9) Lil' Sam is the firecracker of the group. He's always ready and willing to sing...anytime, anywhere, and for anybody! He really loves to praise God, especially with his drums.  Watch out for Lil' Sam playing the guitar too.  Lil' Sam is one of the original members of the group that recorded their first CD, "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!"...you can find him on the CD's cartoon cover.

JOVONNE - (Age: 9) Jovonne is one of the original members of the group.  She's been ordained as the official "Tambourine player" of "Gospo & The Gospel Kids!" and she loves to "Praise Him with "the timbrel and dance" (Psalms 150:4).  Now her family is getting into the act too...Gospel Kid "Jordan" is her little brother!  Jovonne is one of the original members of the group that recorded their first CD, "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!"...you can find her on the CD's cartoon cover.

GREG - (Age: 8) Greg is one of the newest members of the group, but he's fitting right in like he's been in since the beginning.  At only 8 years old, Greg is already showing that he's a true singer to the Lord.  You can catch Greg on the upcoming 2nd CD by "Gospo & The Gospel Kids!"..."Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!...Volume 2 "My God Is A Big, Big God!".

KALEN - (Age: 12) Kalen is one of the leaders of the group...at only 12 years old.  Not only is she a gifted singer for Jesus, the Lord has also blessed her to be an anointed writer of plays and short stories.  Just like Jovonne, her little brother "Jesse" is also in the group too.  You can catch Kalen (...and Jesse) on the upcoming 2nd CD by "Gospo & The Gospel Kid's!"..."Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!...Volume 2 "My God Is A Big, Big God!".

JORDAN - (Age: 5) Jordan is the other "baby of the group" at 5 years old, but this little praiser is full of energy.  He’s an anointed young singer that loves to minister to the Lord with all of his heart.  Lil' Jordan is quick to jump up front and lead a song.  His big sister "Jovonne" is a Gospel Kid too.

MYIA - (Age: 10) Myia is the songwriter of the bunch. God has really blessed her with the gift of writing worship and praise songs for Jesus.  You can catch this blossoming psalmist singing lead on "Don't Talk About Me"...which she co-wrote with Gospo when she was only 7 years old!  Myia is one of the original members of the group that recorded their first CD, "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!"...you can find her on the CD's cartoon cover.

JUSTEN - (Age: 12) "Gospo & The Gospel Kids!" is full of anointed singers for Jesus, and Justen is another one. His confidence has really grown during the "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!" experience. Don't miss 'Mr. Justen' singing lead with Gospo on "Perfect Praise" and "Let Us Sacrifice More Time".  Justen is one of the original members of the group that recorded their first CD, "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song!"...you can find him on the CD's cartoon cover.

JESSE - (Age: 5) Jesse is one of the "babies of the group" at 5 years old, but this little praiser is full of energy. He's the official "Assistant Manager" of "Gospo & The Gospel Kids!" because he's not afraid to come up with good ideas for the group.  He's not afraid to speak up and let everybody know what's on his mind.  His big sister 'Kalen' is a Gospel Kid too.

KHORYAWNE - (Age: 11) Khoryawne (pronounced CORY-AWN) is the one of the newest members of the group.  She's been singing since she was 5 years old when she sang her first solo in the Youth Choir at her church, Rock of Faith Baptist Church.  Khoryawne loves to sing praises to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  You can hear her singing the lead on "Peer Pressure" from "Gospo & The Gospel Kids!" upcoming 2nd CD, "Sing Unto The Lord A New Song...Volume 2 My God Is Big, Big, Big!"
